Learning Objective(s): Discuss the content students will learn. Also, include the skills acquired in the lesson. (Avoid the terms "learn" and "understand.")

The students will be able to find information and post it on their blog for others to use as a resource for information. They will find their information on
www.boswelloklahoma.blogspot.com website. This website will give them information on different articles that deal with history in sports. They will post their information on their own blog and keep it updated daily.

State Standards and Instructional Technology Standards: List the number(s) of the state curriculum standard(s) and instructional technology standard(s) met by the activity.

Materials/Resources: Indicate the software or technology that students use in the assignment. If you assign the students a website to use, hyperlink its title.

The students will have internet access. The students will create a blog by using the website
www.blogger.com/. The students will get information from the web links www.preston1225.blogspot.com www.boswelloklahoma.blogspot.com and www.nauticadude.blogspot.com

Procedure for Teaching: Write a simple plan that others could follow.

The students will create a blog. They will title their blog. The students will find information on the given websites for their resources. The students will post information daily. The information they post will be about the history of sports and related links. The websites they use need to be hyperlinked.

Student Product: Simply state what the student product is. For example, a blog or comments on an activity posted to a blog.

The student product will consist of an updated blog with comments and information about the history of sports.

Assessment: Indicate how you will assess that the objectives were met.

The students will be graded on their proper hyperlinks and websites. They also will be graded on their creativity and on how good the information they have on their website is understood.

***Method of evaluation for the lesson plan and example of the activity:When I evaluate the lesson plan, I will look for each section to be addressed. Of course, I expect proper punctuation and spelling. When I evaluate the student activity, I will use a rubric. I have developed one and am letting it simmer a day or two before posting it for you to view. I like to create a rubric or a lesson and let it set a while. Then, I go back and evaluate my work. You know as teachers we are always evaluating what we do.
